Plastic surgery will be covered if the surgery is necessary to restore the area which has been damaged by disease or accident, such as breast restoration after breast cancer or reconstructing a nose after a dog bite. It is also at least partially covered in a case where natural occurences (i e, sagging skin around the eyes) causes a medical problem, such as reduced vision. This may vary greatly from one insurance company to another as far as co-pay,limitations,etc. so be sure you have checked with your own company before giving the OK to any procedure.
