Around 1980 Hubby got one of the first Apple's on the market (wish we kept it, it's probably valuable as an antique now). He taught me and our son how to use it.

I think I would've been about 10 or 11, something ling like that. (Early 80's). It was a computer that belonged to the school that I went to, and it was called a ZX 81.

I was 18 years old and in college in a programing class.

back when I was in high school (I graduated in '81), there were no PCs yet. I don't even remember what they called the particular computers we worked on in computer class...except they used floppy disks. Even when I started in my current career (travel consultant) we were still on CRTs. So, I never used a PC until my late 20s. I didn't buy my first one for home until '98.

I was 56....still so much to learn! These things ought to come with instructions.

Do Radio Shack PC's from the late 1970's count? If so, I was 19. If not, I was in my late 20's. I was a mainframe computer operator since 1977, I didn't need to use a PC.

I was 33 or 34 years old when I first used a computer. I hated the concept of computers before this, but one day I was with my landlord/friend at a Big Louisiana Flea market, and I came across a very nice Sony WEBTV system that someone had for sale. I bought it for $50.00, and someone told me that I would use it for just 2 weeks, and then I would be wanting a computer. They were wrong, because I used it for 4 days, and wnated a full computer. The next day, we went to a used computer fair, and I bought my first computer, which was a generic desktop, and it had a pentium 133 processor on it, and ran Windows '98. Man looking back to then, and with having what I have today, it seems like a vast dinasaur-type era in my life back then. Of course, it wasn't long after that that i sold the WEBTV system, and was handed down another used desktop pc, which was an acer with a pentium 266. Now, I am totally in likeness of the computer era, and i own more than 5 computers.
