Because no real people monitor Y/A, so there is no customer service of any sort. The trolls run rampant there and get legit users suspended for no good reason all of the time. There are many people, including myself, who've all but abandoned that site to come here.

Maybe because it has more users than any other Q&A website on earth. The more people, the more likely you would have people like those.
And as it is, the Yahoo site in general is full of idiots, trolls, jerks, spammers and bots. Have you visited its chat room? Geez, even the Buddhist chat room had sex bots urging you to check them out using your webcam.

Because the people who made it are idiots trolls and jerks. The YA staff are the worst staff out there. They dont do anything for yahoo, except get rid of questions they personally dont like. So its set up like this. They make the rules vague, so that way the rules can be twisted however they need to be to justify a deletion. Plus, many users just go on just to insult everyone, and justify it as an honest opinion, and believe that flagging their content would violate their little freedom of speech. So, they just found loopholes. So, most of the well mannered, positive people get sick of all the negativity, ignorance, bashing, and close mindedness that goes on, on their stupid website, and come here, where they dont have to worry about such losers. The main reason so many losers use this website is because theyre are either a) too chicken to insult someone to their face, so why not vent anger here. b) Are control freaks, whom everyone in the real world ignore, so they come to a little fantasy land and try pushing their narrowminded views down everyone elses throats, which just makes YA more unpopular, or c) Belong to a hate group, and YA is the only place that allows hate towards certain types of people they do not care for. So, I'd say let those losers hang around in their little fantasyland, till YA crashes and burns, and their little fantasyland is gone. So, honestly, YA is not an open minded diverse website, despite the fact they claim it is.
