Has anyone ever heard of someone having seizures from smoking marijuana-possibly from smoking and drinking? It was my friend's first time smoking and he began going into what seemed to be seizures and he was chanting out jibberish. We were

Some folks do this when they get so messed up that they semi-pass out. I had a friend years ago (college days) that did this.

Scared me to death the first time I saw him do it.

The best (safest thing) for him to do is leave it alone though.

It is more coon than we may think. Seizures are quite common and can lead to permenant epileptic episodes. What it as he could end up very ill. Marijuana affects the neurological system!

i wouldnt say i smoke huge amounts of weed but i do consume regularaly lol but i have never had a seizure although i have heard of it happening its rare from my knowledge i have only ever been close to a weed seizure when i have freaked out but that was all

It has happend to me three times, I use to smoke almost everyday, then I started feeling weird like an out of body experince, not all there,I would let my Hubby know then the next thing I know he says I would be on the ground having a seizure. It's a crazy feeling, I would hear him calling my name in the distance, my head would feel like a rush of cold air and electric shocks, like I said it's happened three times , and I had to quit, just too scared, the feelings freaky.
What could it have been? It occured months from each other.

you didnt drop any of it on the carpet or anything like that and put it back into the bag did you? haha my friend did this and he got something mixed in w/it. fcked him up real good and was prolly was some kind of carpet cleaner. haha just a thought

This happened to me once but that was smoking block which had opium through it - I thought I was having an epileptic fit, it was horrible. I couldn't move and got stuck on the stairs, and when they found me I couldn't speak for about an hour.
Maybe he got such a rush it just had that effect on him - is he OK now? Maybe his drink was spiked...Did he take anything else?

No we had all smoked the same stuff and were fine. Im thinking maybe an allergy?

I doubt it was laced.. inless somebody did it to screw with him. because lacing is for what people do to there own stuff. they dont waste it on others. It could have been a allergic reaction people who are allergic to weeds and flowers are commonly alegic to weed.

Perhaps, allthough I haven't heard of a weed allergy before. He might be allergic to smoke, the gibberish part could have just been him being high. I guess crazier things have happened.

He might have had something to strong for him. I don't know though. It also could have been laced.
