How would you go about playing Halo on the PC? Do you need an XBOX 360? Can you sign up for XBOX live on it? Or do you just need the disc?

Halo Combat Evolved is a PC game. When you buy it, you put in the disc, install the game and play either campaign, or multiplayer. When playing multiplayer there is no such thing as xbox live. You simply need an internet connection, and a lobby full of servers will appear. Halo 2 for the PC is another story. You have to PAY to play multiplayer, and if you don't, you'll lack some benefits.
