You more than likely have a problem with one or both front wheel speed sensors. Either the connection is corroded or the sensor has corrosion between it and its mounting surface. This is very common on GM trucks. If you have some mechanical ability it isn't to difficult to remove the sensors and clean the mounting surface. Just make sure you clean everythin before taking the sensors off so you don't get dirt in the bearings. Then follow the wire to the connector and make sure the connector is clean and tight. Don't drive the vehicle in that condition too long, it will only get worse. A temp fix is to unplug a wheel speed connector to fault out abs and disable the system. Don't pull the ABS fuse because it can affect regular braking.

ABS Works by sensing when the wheel stops revolving under braking, it will then momentarily reduce the braking pressure and reapply.

It sounds like there may be a problem with the mechanism that detects the revolution of the wheel.

In your shoes I would not drive this until a mechanic rectifies it.
