I have a 1993 ford f150 4x4 truck, and when i push the overdrive button the light doesn't go on. What should i look for?

Light's probably burnt out. Best way to check is to go on the highway, do about 100, then press the O/D button. It should kick back into 3rd gear. If it does, then you light is simply out. If it doesn't, then you have a switch or a transmission problem.
