I've been taking the pill Yasmin for 2 years and I want to try and get pregnant. Should I just take the placebo pills, or do I need to get off the pills entirely and then try to get pregnant?

Since the placebo pills contain no hormones, taking ONLY those would be the same to your body as simply stopping the pill. Also, if you do want to become pregnant, why would you continue taking any of the pills? Just stop them altogether.

You should wait until your about to start your period, try to avoid just stopping the pill as your body is used to the cycle and the hormones giving by taking the pill. Once you have had your period wait until the 11-14th day as that is usually when our cycle is at optimum time for conception and try than?? If you just stop the pill, it will take longer for your body to get use to the changes if you finish your pill and let your body perform its natural course your body and your health should be prime for pregnancy :) hopefully all works well. Also try calling your doctor or a womens health care clinic!!!
