If being rich means you are successful then don't the rich celebrate the rich for being rich? Isn't that rich?

You're reading Is the Priminister of AUSTRALIA wrong, when today(est)28/12/07,after Benizir Bhutto's assassination he described it,quote "as an attack on Pakistan's democracy"unquote.? Question being, can a dictatorship correctly be called a democracy?

G'day Tani.Let's beg to differ.I reckon,as our PM,Kevin Rudd should speak of facts. Not let us try to decide what he is saying(virtually on all our behalfs).

Plus, very unfortunately and tragically we will never know if Benizir might have been elected to run a democracy..........Who knows,General Musharraf might just declare the elections null and void and reinstall himself Numero uno!!!!!!!!!!!

I was not implying that I myself thought that Bhutto was representing democracy, it is just that when I watched the news tonight the collection of quotes from international leaders tended to suggest that she was an ally of Bush and Co in the eyes of the media.
Whether I agree with Bush & co / and media is a whole separate thing. :)
I honestly don't know enough about Pakistan to have an informed view of the situation.
Cheers :)

I hope you have a good year too Ozzygob :)
I'm actually naturally inclined to be diplomatic & docile (I'm trying to grow out of it, but that is actually my nerdy personality!).
:)

I' gunna replace "nerdy" with kind, thoughtful, considerate and finish up with by saying "Oh yeh,I know Tani, she's got a really warm, gentle and pleasant disposition."
Right,I'm gunna stop this bit of flirting before your bloke comes knocking on me door with some what's going on questions......bloody politics,I should know better!!

Yeah, I doubt my guy would like it too much. Lucky for him he's knows I'm like a bloody barnacle - not going anywhere :)
It was nice chatting to you, I'll keep an eye out for you!

I'll have to be friggin careful coz barnacles are razor sharp,so I'm off to watch the cricket.Give ya bloke a nudge and tell him I reckon he's a lucky fella to have such a charming barnacle to play with, without getting cut up.
I've gotta admit I've never heard that barnacle expression before.
It's a ripper.I'll feel really friggin guilty if I use it coz I'LL know,to meself, that I've just nicked it off the net.

Oooroo, feel free to use it! I had not thought of the sharp edges bit, my man may think I use those edges sometimes.
Enjoy the cricket.
