Help answer this question below.

If you are in jail and have a release date but you get caught using the police phone how much more time can they give you?

    That's not a crime, in itself, so additional jail time would be added. The only way he might do longer is if they were to take away some good time, (if he's been receiving any), as punishment. He'd get a formal jail hearing, etc., and will be told if this is happening. Either way it wouldn't add up to much additional time served.
