It is strange how negative people are about the military since their one objective over anything else is to keep the country safe. Recruitment is down due to the unpopular war for sure, but calling recruiting tactics subversive is a bit harsh. We still need to have people in our military to keep the nation safe. As far as "bullet stoppers" the number of soldiers lost this past year (under 1000) has not depleted the military moreso than the lack of re-enlistments, etc. I think by offering bonus money to those willing to enlist is less subversive than drafting people.

That is quite the bribery they're using. Do they really do that? Sounds like they're getting desperate.

They are running very short of bullet stoppers the hospitals in europe are full of our young military they do not want the american public to know how many are being severly damaged mostly traumatic brain injurys and radiation poisioning from depleted uranium on everything. Ex-president Clinton depleted the armed forces to such a degree that we nolonger have the military that is actually needed to protect this country if we were to be invaded by anyone with a standing army. They are offering to immigrants or people wanting to come here citizenship "IF" they join the military. Why you ask? Americans would be less likely to follow orders to shoot at and kill other americans, but immigrants would not probably have very little problem shooting Americans that do not want be re-educated to the new regime. They would be rewarded with promotions and payraises for killing those terriable trouble makers that remember the constitution.

What is your definition of 'subversive'??
The military is the most capable means of molding overgrown children into young men and women we have. If they have to bribe them to start the process, that's just a result of the materialistic, self-centered society we have created. They are doing far less harm to those people than the alternative of sitting in front of their Nintendos and smoking weed because they can't find a job in an overtaxed, barely functioning economy.
