Is it legal to carry a fixed blade knife on my side in a sheath?

    No. its only legal when you are in a permissable hunting area.

    Carrying this knife in public, is illegal.

    I believe that most states agree that less than a 4 inch blade is legal.

    Of course this does not mean in airports....
