Why are children's toys so cheaply made yet expensive to buy?

    because the Corporations are paying other countries like china that has cheap labor to make it. So when they sell it, they sell it at a higher price which means they will make more profit.

    yup i agree with the word profit...toys are no longer made for kids they are made to make money off of the average child!

    Because they know we won't be skimpy with kids. They know we'll pay more than we would for ourselves. Imagine a plastic toy tool set which costs more that a real tool set of the same items. Now imagine the toys costing more. Nevermind - don't imagine it. It has happened.

    Its a huge money making scheme....make them cheap...make them expensive...because they know you will buy them no matter what...make them so they do not last..so you have to replace them.

    The fact that we need to buy new toys all the time due to kids breaking the other ones adds to the demand.
