  • Dude, I wasn't aware that daytime running lights and low beams were different. Am I wrong??
  • You may have both low-beam headlight filaments burnt out. The DRLs operate on the high-beam filaments at reduced voltage, so they would still work.
  • Thanks for the reply but you are incorrect. The daytime running lights run on the low beam filaments. I had to change the bulb because I had lost the DRL on the passenger side.
  • hey guys help me out I have 1996 chevrolet tahoe and my daytime running lamps dont work I checked fuse number 15 on theside of the dashboard also checked the fuse under the hood even changed a relay above the brake pedal help
  • Probably because it's an American made chevy suburban and if it were Japanese made you would not be having any problems right now! Buy a used V8 Toyota and be happy and unload that suburban right away!
  • My 99 suburban uses the low beams for the DRL, however, my Haynes manual thinks they are separate bulbs. So far I haven't found the control module or the diode.
