I'm too old. The government would be pretty desperate to want to draft people over 40 years old. Yes, I would serve.
-
I am too old, too fat and have flat feet.
-
I am well past the age of getting drafted, though if I was of draft age, I would not go for it is against my beliefs..
-
I would defineatly be there!
-
No I wouldn't go. Because it isn't a war. It was an invasion. The army is supposed to defend a country, not invade, due to a pack of lies and underhand motives. But if it was a valid reason then yes, I would go.
-
No. I'd start an anti-government paramilitary group instead.
-
Yes, I would.
-
I'm too old nearly halfway to being legally blind with no cure either surgically or with glasses so it is highly doubtful I would be drafted. If I were however I would proudly serve my country and my President with dignity and honor to the best of my abilities.
-
Drafted means you have to go, right? If so, I would go against my will. If not, then no, I wouldn't go.
-
This draft thing is what I hope will never come back. I fear it will only come back after people have dropped their guard and allow women directly into combat roles. After that they will bring it back, draft 18 year old baby girls right out of their parents arms and send them away to die face down in the shit fields of Iraq. I'm against it.
-
im a 25 year old woman...NO i would not. I'd go to Canada or Mexico but i would not go to war. I'd be too scared.
-
Since I am old and female they would not want me. If I was young and male, I would be considered a "conscientous objector" and would probably go to jail.
-
Well, since everyone has got some kind of excuse, I'll have to say that I won't go either, I'm too good looking.
-
Hell yeah I would go.
-
Nope.
-
It wouldn't affect me or my brother, but if i had to go, i believe that the draft is mandatory is it not?
-
no, they wouldn't let me
-
I would feel obligated to go because no matter what people think is really going on with our government its only speculation. This country has given me opprotunities I couldn't even Imagine if I lived else ware. Others feel that this country hasn't given them anything and but if you look close enough the opprotunites are there you just have to want to reach out and grab them. Would I die for my country even if I had no Idea why? YES!!!!! I would join up before the draft that way I get a choice on what I get to do.
-
No I wouldn't be able to. My health would prevent me from being drafted into the military.
-
Yeah, I'd go...To Canada! Sorry man, love this country, love the troops, but I don't belive in this war or the reasons we are fighting it! For the first time in the history of these United States, we are at war because our "Commander and Cheif" is a money grubbing, lying, double dealing jackass! We go to war to defend our country, not to make the president rich! If it was a war to protect our way of life from possiable invasion like WWII, Vietnam, or Korea, or a war in defence of one of our allies, I'd be one of the first at the recruiters office signing up! But I won't go to war for this president, Ever!!
-
absolutely. I would love to shoot me some terrorists.

I can speculate about all manner of conspiracy theories and I can rise up and revolt to change the system, if need be. Why can I do these things? Because my forefathers have laid down a system which affords me the powers necessary to keep my government in check. If they cross the line, the citizens are afforded the opportunity to question their authority, to bear arms in self defence, to enact laws and elect officials, to protest and petition and not be massacred for it. Ok, sometimes the government forgets their place (public service), but we as American citizens are here to remind them and to be sure that they step down. I don't know of any other country where people have this kind of freedom to the extent that we do. Europe only followed suit to keep their citizens in place, bet your bottom dollar if the Monarchies still ruled Europe as they did before, there would be no citizens left for them to rule. They'd be dead or American. Our freedoms are becoming encroached upon, but we can still change it back, the line is near but not yet crossed. Lets remember that we are not fighting for a president or a chief justice, or a secretary of state. We are fighting for a way of life. We should hold that way sacred and appreciate it for what it is. I would go to war for this ideal for a thousand lifetimes, no matter what 'ego' was at the helm.
-
No; I'd rather sit in a jail cell than be conscripted.
-
No. They would have to put me in jail.
-
I've already served my time over there. For us, it would be a recall, not a draft. I would not hesitate to go back, even though it is wrong for us to be over there and I am strongly against it, it is my duty.
-
Yes, even though I think it was started and being fought for the wrong reasons!
-
I would go in a heartbeat. It is one of the greatest honors to be able to serve your country.
-
No. I don't have to worry about it because I'm not eligible due to a health condition, but I would if I could be called because it is my duty as an american no matter what the reasons.
-
Honestly, no. I've served my country and am proud of that. But at this point, I am undraftable for a few reasons. But if I were, knowing now and being draftable, I would move.
-
yesterday
-
Nope. Throw me in jail, please.
