What should be the legal requirement for drinking alcohol?

    In the UK it is 18, I think most people drink much younger .

    Difficult to say that you can vote and marry without permission and die for your country but not drink alchohol so I suppose unless they raise the age of consent again to 21 , I can only say 18.

    Personally i think it should be 21 but in the circumstances you cannot have that double standard.
