Help answer this question below.

Hi my dog has cushings disease she is also senile and has an enlarged liver the vet thinks its best to put her to sleep but i feel she is ok i have had her 13 years and dont want to give up on her but dont want her to suffer either please can anyone help

    If I was you, I would make the hard decision of putting her to sleep. Taking they pain a away would be the best Christmas present you can give her. I can imagine what you are going through. I put my 13 year old Pomeranian to sleep and it was one of the most difficult and painful moments in my life....but....I have good memories of him and I know that I did the right thing when I took his pain and misery away from him.

    Unfortunately that is your own very difficult personal decision you have to make. I know the pain...but as you said..you don't want her to suffer. Good luck...

    honestly, i know what your going through.I had my puppy for 16 years he was a black lab, and about 2 months ago it caught up with him. And we had to put him down, life long friends are hard to lose. But i knew i didn't want him in pain.

    Do what you believe it best but realize some times its just time, and you have to let them go.
