  • 300 Was just simply SUPERB
  • I don't like anything with "raging" participants...sorry, Kev. Maybe it's a guy thing..I'm thinking most gals don't enjoy uncontrolled violence either on the screen or in real life! :) Happy Monday! :)
  • A'course they are. I wouldn't want to watch anyone else rage when I can watch a barbarian do it.
  • I tend to enjoy them myself. Especially in Gladiator. The opening scene of the battle between the Romans and the Germania Barbarians is a real grabber. As describe by the following: The story is fairly familiar. A great and popular Roman general, Maximus (Russell Crowe), defeats the last Barbarian horde of Germania (in the fantastic opening scene of the film). The aging Emperor Marcus Aurelius (Richard Harris) sees in Maximus the virtues lacking in his own scheming son, Commodus (Joaquin Phoenix). Crowe essentially plays a Cincinnatus or, for that matter, a George Washington for Roman times. He has no love of politics or the decadence that is Rome, which is why he is so popular. He is simply a farmer who has laid down his plow reluctantly but willingly for his Emperor and Rome.
  • My favourite Arnold Shwartzenneger movies are the two "Conan" movies ...
