You should be fine, it might hurt a tad when putting it back in, but no worries.
Take it out for an hour, put it back. Then take it out for 2 hours. Increase the time until you get to a point where you can feel the piercing starting to tighten when you reinsert the jewelry, then you know how long you can leave it out for.
If it is fully healed then 4-6 hours will be no problem whatsoever. After 6 months of having it in you should be able to leave it out for 48 hours or more with no problem. Any longer than a couple of days and you will have trouble getting it back through.
I got my lip pierced (monroe) on the 23rd, ball fell out so replaced w/ another bracket, my skin has grown over the metal now. what do I do?
