    Good question, here are some basic (and easy things) you can do:

    -Always use a "Title" tag for each one of the pages, with the name of the page and a very short description)
    -Use a "Keywords" tag, that contains no more than 6 keywords separated by commas.
    -If possible do some "reciprocal linking" with other sites (the most popular these sites the better).
    -Update your content at least twice a month, this will increase your page ranking.
    -Submit your site to as many search engines as possible.
