Personally, I prefer CoD4. Halo is more Sci-Fi, so it's cool if thats what you're into, but I prefer more realistic games. CoD4 makes you feel like you're fighting in a real war. I think the multi-player is way better too. Call of Duty 4 is currently the most played game online. Go COD4!!!

If you were going to choose between Halo 3 and CoD4, it depends on your preference
If you like sci-fi and crazy space alien games like Halo, then that would be your game
If you like modern guns and humans and the normal FPS games, then CoD4 would be your game
For me, Halo 3 is the same awesomeness as CoD4. It has cool graphics, guns, enemies, and vehicles, but CoD4 also has awesome guns, graphics and whatever :D

Halo is pretty epic (not to mention the beautiful graphics!), but Call of Duty takes the cake in my opinion. The missions are better, and much more engaging.

Well you are right about the sci-fi part. I am a F.P.S player period. So I don't care what the setting is as long as its fun to play. Call of duty does make you feel like your fighting in a real war; but you know a even MORE realistic game that has almost no bull at all? Rainbow 6 games and Ghost Recon. Anyways, The multi-player in all the C.O.D games are pretty basic. Halo is a WIDE range of things! Very big in variety. People like me love Call of Duty, but like to do a WHOLE bunch of different things in a different way. Some times there's more than just "I shoot you, you shoot me".
