  • I am a retired accountant. I had a job years ago which required me to travel a few times a year to do audits of the companies that were producing goods for us..it included trips to Tulsa, Oklahoma (which I fell in love with), Long Island, New York and one trip to St. Louis..meeting the people in those parts of the country and seeing how well they did their jobs and how much they cared about doing them better (which was always the focus of my audit) was a real privilege..in Tulsa, especially, when someone told you "y'all come back, y'hear?" you knew they meant it! I've enjoyed all my jobs (I've been very lucky) but that was the most interesting! :)
