  • Oh Baby, you're in shock! It's a wonderful thing he's done. When the shock's worn off, you'll be ok. Be proud of him. You've still got him, the other person's still here, who wouldn't be without him. :)
  • I know your first instinct is to be mad at your brother, and scared that he risked so much, but your brother gave someone a wonderful gift---life. That's always a blessing.
  • You should say something along the lines of, "What you did was a very selfless act of heroism and bravery, and you make me so proud to be your sister. But on the other hand, I am so thankful that you are alright and are not hurt. You've made me sad at the thought of losing you, so even though I'm glad you saved another person's life...try not to get into too many situations like that in the future, okay? I can't lose you!" I don't know...maybe something like that.
  • It's easy for me to say this as I have a limited knowledge of your brother's heroic act and no direct involvement of this, but maybe just tell him that he should always be careful and that there are many people concerned about his well-being. I think it's better to be very thankful that he came out alright and move on.
  • It sounds to me like your brother is a hero. :) Just thank God that your brother is alright and tell your brother that you love him. :) Thank you and may God bless you! :) -In Jesus' Name.
  • this is why i get upset when idiots say policemen and fireman are overpaid. bull----!!! your brother is a hero!! be happy for him. but let him know to be careful. let him know you love him and dont want anything to happen to him. but be proud of him. that is what he would want. not for you to be mad at him.
  • You can't be mad at someone for doing the heroic thing. Especially if it turned out well for everyone. You can let him know you're scared and sad that he could've been gone, but focus on letting him know you're glad he's still here, and proud that he did something to save another. It's a blessing to be so close to someone who can do something so selfless and so great.
  • Tell him how proud you are of him to have saved someone's life. Tell him he's your hero. Then tell him you never want to lose him, and how scared you were when you heard just at the thought he could have died. I'm sure he wouldn't have done it if he thought he'd die. Clearly he was right. It's selfish of you to be angry at him for saving another person. Give yourself time and you'll get a better perspective on it.
  • "there is no greater love that man can have than than to risk his life for a fellow man"? thank him for doing it and get over it

  • He is a policeman. Be proud of it! Ofcourse, if you keep thinking about negatives, its going to worry you so think of positives.
  • ILMB...you have lost so much in this short life of yours that you must have been frantic when your brother could have lost his life too. It must have brought it all back for you that the ones you love are now gone and it could have happened again to your brother. What a nightmare that must have been for you! I am so glad your brother is fine. It is too close to the time when you lost your sweetheart and then for this to happen. Your emotions were again on a roller coaster ride and the thought of losing your brother like that must have been terrifying for you. I am so sorry you had to be put through this...((((many hugs )))) for you J.
  • I agree with Babycakes. Sometimes a man or woman just acts when they see someone in trouble without fear of the outcome. These people are called HEREOS. But I can understand your feelings knowing what you have lost in your life. Your friend ROCKWELLTS
  • Wow that is really selfish of you to feel that way. You should be proud of him.
