I need of your opinion; we are thinking of changing the look of our website and we are torn (big step 4 us). Which looks better to you, our current home page http://www.primetap.com or the test page http://www.primetap.com/indexTest.html? Suggestions?

Just for the record on this question. My intention isn't to advertise. I really need help and I value the opinions of ABers. The site is just a hobby of a handful of librarians.

I'm being brutally honest, OK? The test page at least has a better background (more contrast). But I've got to tell ya - the page is way too cluttered. A great web page makes it very easy to find things and is easy on the eyes. Your design makes it so that I almost have to scroll through the entire page to find what I'm looking for. Titles are in small text. This is textbook web page design circa 1997. I tend to avoid sites like this like the plague.
