I have a damaged spark plug thread (at the deepest point) and the plug is loose. Is it possible to use an extra spark plug washer so the spark plug doesnt go in as far, and yet fits tight?

It is called a Heli-Coil Insert Kit (one brand)& comes as a "Kit". The kit has a Drill Bit, Tap (to cut new over sized threads), Coils & Insertion Tool. The head MUST COME OFF to do this, so pick up a new "Head Gasket" as well. Installed properly it will Never Fail! About $25. John

well theres this thread they use to go around the spark plug or you could use the white bandage strip tape that holds the bandage arond the cut it looks like white tape that works- go to auto zone if you need that thread- youll see it there
