Can birth control cause you to have your period for 50 days

    Some do, if it's Seasonal then yea. Had mine for 2 months and the dr. said it was normal. That stuff really does prevent pregnancy, cause you can never have sex.

    I bled for 6 months (minus a week a month) while on depo i wasn't going to get the second shot but they insisted it would stop...yea right....needless to say it didn't and after the second shot wore off i had my period every 2 weeks like clock work....joys of being a woman...

    i have already switched once, and then i stopped that one too after 2 week because i still had my period. i have had sex during the 50 days, could i be pregnant?

    Yes it can. Definitely talk to your Dr. Let them know you want birth control but whatever your using is causing problems. We went through quite a few methods before we found one we were satisfied with. There are various options. Enough to be picky I'd say.

    i called the doctor around day 20 and he said that it was normal because it was just getting used to my body but then i stopped taking it about 4 days ago and it was very heavy but now its getting less heavy. do you think that this will be like my normal period and it will be gone in a few days

    I had an period for 90 days on the shot. I'd suggest talking to your doctor about trying something else.
