You're reading Is it illegal for a husband to monitor his wifes (whom which they are getting divorced) email? The account settings are set so that anything sent or received from her e-mail account gets forwarded to his e-mail. Is this Illegal? yes or no? and why?

Thanks, Patti Jo. I teach college and am amazed, as a naturalized citizen, how many Americans are not aware of the wording, and less so of the spirit of our constitutional protections. Sadly, they are so often ignored today by the Government when rights are trampled on for the "greater good" - which means that we are denying the rights to begin with so what "common good " is being served?! As to the limits of the First Amendment regarding "freedom of speech" and our right to reputation and privacy, that has gone so far off can we recover a balance?
