Central bussiness gets sales they wouldn't have otherwise, even though they make less profit on them. And skillfull affiliates can set up sites which will generate income with little or no work necceseary afterwards. When selling memberships, the commisions are way higher then when selling a "product", since since there really isn't any cost to the company for new membership, except for bit more bandwith used, which is cheap. I used to make about $700 a month with only few hours a work from promoting adult toy store. and some porn sites.
