  • Much more better than what some people do think about it.Developing Nations, have seen it as an over populated country with lack of quality life style and oppertunities.Some think its poverty trodden and economically not at par with many nations of the world. And why they think like that? Its because they know nothing regarding its 6000 years old history and at present they havent updated with the happenings out here.They way it gathered momentum in economic process in the 21st century with GDP touching a figure of 10% every year is known to a few. Poplulation is getting stabilized.Industries have come up with a rapid pace.In every sector its self sufficient now.Standard of living has improved considerably over years.And all these were achieved keeping its culture and tradition intact. Of course there is every scope of further delvelopment and by 2010 it would be rubbing shoulders with all other developing nations of the world. Life is just awesome over here.

  • The quality of Life in India, especially after the advent of IT boom, has improved a lot. With high pay packets and higher earnings now, there is an all round consumerism seen. Super Markets and Malls from all over the world have opened their operations in major cities here.
  • Honestly, that depends on your situation and socioeconomic status. The middle class upwards have it very nice. I had a maid, a cook, and a driver. The economic boom in India, though, has yet to reach many of the poorest Indians, so their standard of life remains quite poor. Villages of make-shift tents are not uncommon, and Bangalore had at least a dozen of them. The wealthiest live very comfortable lives, but that is true of any society.
