Satan was once an angel. So yes.
-
Yes God loves Satan He just wants Satan to understand he has no need to compete with God. He wants Satan to see the light, as he wants from all sinners. The term "God fearing" does not a good person make, because we have nothing to fear from God. He is love

If you read the Book of Job in the King James Version of the bible, you will See Satan visiting God and they treat each other like friends. Very illuminating
-
There seems to be a love/hate relationship between these two
-
What if Satan repented and genuinely asked God to forgive him?
-
satan is not a sinner. satan is a fallen angel who at one time worshipped and adored God in heaven, but satan became ambitious to receive God's praise and adulation, so he chose to try and usurp God's throne. He led a rebellion against God with other rebellious angels and they were all thrown out of heaven. only mankind is sinful, and can choose to have a right relationship with God, or not. God loves and respects YOU enough to give you a choice whether to accept His affection but God continues to love and bless you even if you reject Him. peace.

sin is the transgression of gods law, god does love us but if we continue to sin that means we turn our backs on god to do everything our own way(mans way) he will do the same to us by turning away from us. satan is basically the author of sin and deceit, god doesnt like these things, god is good, but one must not turn his back on god, because he will do likewise.

That should be the logic of a loving God......

Every night, and he loves it.

According to the revelations of St. Birgitta, the Lord would forgive the devil if he asked for it: (book 1 ch 34) Then the Lord answered: "If I am so merciful, then, that I do not refuse pardon to anyone asking for it, ask me humbly for mercy yourself, and I will give it to you." The devil answered him: "That I shall do by no means! At the time of my fall, a punishment was established for every sin, for every worthless thought or word. Every spirit that has fallen will have his punishment. But rather than bend my knee before you, I would rather swallow all the punishments myself, as long as my mouth can open and shut in punishment and be forever renewed to be punished again." Then the Lord said to his bride: "See how hardened the prince of the world is and how powerful he is against me thanks to my hidden justice! I could certainly destroy him in a second by means of my power, but I do no more harm to him than to a good angel in heaven. When his time comes, and it is now approaching, I shall judge him and his followers."
