Apparently, the standard horror film doesn't do it for you. So, try Jacob's Ladder or Carnival of Souls or Repulsion or Requiem for a Dream. One of those should do the trick and freak you out. If not, maybe you should see a doctor.

I second Jacob's Ladder, also anything made by David Lynch freaks me out in a very unhealthy way, like Eraserhead. Try Men Behind the Sun, if that doesn't do it, well...XD Or play one of the Silent Hill video games. Or watch Cannibal Holocaust.

Have you tried to watch korean horro movies? American horror is not really scary..Korean/japanese movies are. They just scared the hell out of us here. An American movie to qualify as horror should have lots of blood in it. Korean/japanese horror movies sometimes don't even have blood.

If you haven't seen the Sixth Sense, or heard any spoilers, then rent it. It's well worth it. . I didn't think the movie was all that scary, but the ending tied a LOT of stuff together for an eerie ending.

I say go old school and watch movies that were more about the suspense: Amityville Horror The Changeling The Shining The Exorcist The Innocents The Omen Rosemary's Baby maybe even Alien and the earlier Halloween movies too.
