  • I consider the ultimate goal of all humans is to learn to accept themselves. The most important relationship you can have is with yourself. Once you learn how to love yourself, to accept yourself without judgment, once you can learn this then all other relationships become easy. If you love and accept yourself you will honor yourself by the friends/partners you choose. But that first relationship that is most important is with yourself. Get that right and the rest of the world falls neatly into place.
  • I think being in a good relationship is one of the ultimate goals of humans. Coming from a natural loner, I think life would be lonely (different from being a loner) without people to share experiences with. However, I recently read "Into the Wild" by Jon Krakauer. It is the biography of a young man who abandons all of his personal relationships to live off the land in Alaska. Based on his journals (he died), he was very happy. I think that is the ultimate goal of all humans...happiness.
