I was once stranded by an unexpected storm at South Lake Tahoe. I stayed in a motel that had an old fashioned wooden outdoor hot tub. My son and I look back on that night with very fond memories, sitting in the hot tub, watching the snow fall all around us. We later went in to sit by the fire and continued watching the snow fall on the lake from the picture window in our suite. He had to call his school and tell them he would miss his class because he was stranded. Ohhhhh, toooo baddd.
