    no it doesnt. many people dont trust the whole online thing and perfer to do more banking in the real banks. i just got hired as a bank teller. and the bank i work for is always hiring people.

    Yes it has. Many people never go near their bank, some cannot because the bank only has an online presence.

    I am unaware of any high street branch of my own bank, but I do live close to the head office so I could make a visit if I wished.

    On-line banking has so much in it's favor that I really cannot see branch banking surviving in the long term.

    From what i see, no. most people do not trust online banking. sending your personal information into cyberspace is like throwing sand in the wind......it goes everywhere. hackers love to break a code and they would love to know your social security number and date of birth.

    I still go to my friendly bank and do business with my friendly bank tellers. i haven't noticed fewer tellers, only more.
