No more so than MMA.
Nah, just a soap opera for guys! It's fun to watch and laugh at the melodrama.
It's come a long way since it was put on in a high school gym in your local town. I hardly ever watched, then one night a stumbled upon RAW and thought a concert was about to start! Boy was I surprised! I laughed so hard! Fireworks and a different stadium each week? I would have never guessed. :) I watch it about once every six months for laughs and just to see who's turned bad and who's turned good.
No, I don't think it is barbaric. It is entertainment in an almost pure fashion. I assume you mean Confederated Wrestling, which involves announcers, microphones and cool costumes. Greco-Roman has rules and I think that is neither barbaric nor uninteresting as a real sport that is a testament to time.
On the other hand, I consider American Football to be quite barbaric as a temper-filled sport with an average body weight way too high to be considered athletic and many goal oriented strategies that involve a brutal amount of violence.
No,There is more sport.training and talent involved than you might think. it is geared down fo family and the kids love it!
