I think consensus can be reached at "Maybe." http://www.psorsite.com/docs/homeseawater.html http://au.answers.yahoo.com/answers2/frontend.php/question?qid=20071204075414AA8R7Nl http://www.psoriasisrx.com/Dead_Sea_Psoriasis_Treatment.asp http://www.mypsoriasistreatment.com/Dead-Sea-Psoriasis-Treatments http://medical.presslib.com/physical-therapy/526625.htm They basicly all say the same thing, theres little science involved. What is clear however, is that Psoriasis and eczema have links to state of mind, mental stress and other condiditons of psyche. This means that psoriasis and eczema would be especially responsive to placebo effects, as well as relaxation and morale building treatments like a sun and sand getaway. There is little scientific evidence for the physical benefits of aformentioned treatments, but the psychological (and subsequently physical) effects have been documented in the past. As Dave's site mentions: "While there's no real evidence for any real therapeutic effect from ocean water over tap water, there is extremely little risk involved with using something close to the real thing, either." There isnt much to lose, and everything to gain! Hope this helps!
