I'm not sure of the film, I just saw the clip; but the most amazing thing I've seen was Gene Kelly dancing with a sheet of paper. He only touched it with his feet and this provided the music as well. This (I think 1930's or 40's) dance had a lot of moves that people think are modern including what looked like the moonwalk (no kidding!)

Gene Kelly Singing in the rain 1952, where it is raining and everyone is looking for cover. Gene Kelly is skipping and splashing in the puddles and the tune starts and he starts to sing and whistle.

Maybe I m boring - but I realy like Dirty Dancing and final scene - so sweet =)) Maybe to sweet=))

Billy Elliot when the boy dances down the street. Don't forget the legendary Gene Kelly singing and dancing in the rain.

Like this question! :) How about: (1) So many of the dance numbers in Fred Astaire & Ginger Rogers films .. (2) not sure of film name, but the one where Fred Astaire is dancing with .. um .. a broom, was it? Or a coat rack? Even on the ceiling? Yikes, bad memory! lol (3) the Gene Kelly "Singin' in the Rain" others have mentioned, but it was also sort of fun to see Kelly, Debbie Reynolds and Donald O'Connor dance down/over that couch together in the same movie (4) Agree re: group dance numbers in "West Side Story" (5) Never mind if a guilty pleasure, "Dirty Dancing" was a fun movie lol -- and on that note, how about (6) Tom Cruise (1983) in his underware dancing to "Ole Time Rock 'n Roll" in "Risky Business"? :)
