I have Microsoft office 2003 installed on my laptop. Outlook refuses to open. I get error saying " Cannot Start Microsoft Office Outlook. Unable to open the Outlook window. The set of folders could not be opened...." Any ideas how I can fix?

It sounds like you pst (personal folders basically) file is corrupt. A full office reinstall would be an idea but back up the existing pst first. Don't want to lose your emails if at all possible. Do you archive/back up you mail often? Outlook can have problems with files exceeding 1 gigabyte ish. You should always try to archive your emails to prevent this. Comment me if you need more :)
