I hear a lot of mums like ebay.

I did some odd jobs through college to help pay for groceries and books. Being a mystery shopper, being a professional shopper (esp. around the holidays some busy ppl pay good money for you to shop for them), selling Mary Kay comsmetics (I've heard there's also jewelry and candle companies that sell similarly), and things like that. Most of those kinds of things don't take up too much time and was actually pretty fun to do.
Dog walking! I dog walk with my Daighter and we all (Dog, Daughter and I) have a BLAST!
We also babysit one girl 8 hours a week. NOt as fun, but still some interaction for my daughter and an extra $450/month
In this state, you can do child care for up to 5 infants. I recommend them 'cause they don't talk back or run off.

Start a business, which means: provide something better/faster/cheaper/easier than others can get it.
Ebay is the answer.
You have to have a little time, intuition, like to go to yard sales and junk stores.
My wife loves it and makes enough money to at least buy her cars gasoline.
Its a good hobby and can pay really big bucks, if you have a good eye for items that ebay lookers are seeking.
