I find the idea of that humorous and disturbing at the same time. Although he would have the ability to do that as president. I don't think it would have the support from enough animal lovers, including the president to warrant it's consideration. It might cause Barney to start pissing all over the White House.

Yes, and then Vick The Pig can organize a dog fight with Bush as a participant.

I don't think a murderer should be pardoned. Just because he didn't participate in the murder of humans, he is a murderer. I also don't think liars should be pardoned, or thieves, or criminals of any kind. A pardon"wipes away" the crime? Baloney! :(

I disagree with the idea of the Presidential pardon full stop. It is a political tool that undermines the system of justice, and thereby undermines the rule of law that 'civilised' society is built upon.

In this specific case, I see no reason why he should pardon Vick... although the Texans could use a new QB, and he is probably buddies with whoever owns them, so that might be a motivation ;)

No! There is no reason to pardon Vick, especially the way he has behaved during the whole ordeal. People must take responsibility for their decisions. Michael Vick is no exception.
