  • I believe he makes whatever his rank pays plus flight pay.
  • I do not know exactly, but I am assuming he makes at least what the highest paid airline captain would make. Airline pilot pay is determined by seniority, seat, and aircraft. So if you're the captain whose been with the company longest and you've flown their largest aircraft the longest, then you are the highest paid. Some of these folks make over $300,000. Now, I would figure if your flying the president around, you would at least be making the same amount as the best paid captain of an airline. If anyone has found this captain's pay scale, post it on here.
  • The Captain that flies Air Force One makes the same as any other military person of the same rank. Although, pilots and other aircrew members receive flight pay which is an additional 400-500 per month. And you also have to remember that the President's salary is only around $400,000. So if the pilot is a Colonel, then he probably makes $140,000 a year.
  • whatever his rank is, plus flight pay, plus time in service. i'm not sure if officers get bas and baq (basic allowance for subsistence and basic allowance for quarters) or not or if that if figured for them in a different way or if that's just an enlisted thing. they may also get a stipend for dependents. the military runs in a very socialized way. everybody of the same rank gets the same pay regardless of job. so, a cook gets the same pay as an aircraft mechanic. on the outside that cook may only make 10 bucks an hour, but the aircraft mechanic could make 50+.
