  • She probably has a number of spots she likes to sit in during the day, but perhaps you don't get to see them all. I reckon she's doing the rounds, checking her territory, making sure everything smells of her (which includes covering up your scent with hers) and having a little rest on the way! My cat has about ten different spots she likes to sit in, and you can almost time when she is going to move from one of them to the other, like 8pm: lap, 9pm lap to rug, 10pm rug to basket, 11pm basket to seemingly random spot in the middle of the apartment...
  • I would think that your cat is lying on you rbed when you are not home for many reasons: - it smells most like you, as you were there most reciently - it may be the favorite spot but when your in it, she may move more then she likes - the sofa is probably where she goes when you are walking around and she knows she is safe but you move to much and so this is where she will remain stationary. Cats are very funny in their behaviour but there is always a reason, we just have to watch them and then we will learn why they do what they do and then you can see if they are acting differently then normal....
  • maybe he likes your scent
  • i am also looking for an answer and please answer: why does my cat bite me when he wants to eat? i assume this is his way of telling me, "hurry up, I'm hungry." rsvp
