I just heard on the news..a man was drunk and tied his neighbors horse to his car and drug it down the road. The horse was killed, of course, (partially dismembered) and the man arrested. What would a suitable punishment be in your opinion?

Tie him to the back bumper of a car and drag HIM down the street.

I think this would be a good time for the classic "Catapult into a Brick Wall" punishment.

take that SO CALLED SORRY ASS MAN and beat him like a pinata till he couldnt take it anymore than stop. repeat the beating again the next day. Im sorry if this is a little extreme but I can't stand people who harm animals for no reason.

obviously HE needs to be dragged behind some drunk ass's car. Naked. (The horse wasn't wearing clothes!)
But seeing as how we live in a "civilized" world where the rights of the offender seem to greatly outweigh the rights of the victim......put him in jail, but tell every gang there that he was actually locked up for attempting to kill their particular gang members.

My god, I can't believe he was driving drunk, no just kidding, that's messed up, he should definitely have to pay for the horse, and pay a large fine to the state, or get a month or two in jail.

I would tie him to a car upside down so that his head would scratch against the ground so that he would die a slow and painfull death.

Honestly, I would love to tie him to the back of my car and drive down the road! But no one (government) would do something like that. So, I think they should either give him the death penalty (which they probably wont-you have to kill like 100 people in a very bad way to get the death penalty now a days) but if they dont do that, then they should definately keep him in jail for a very very long time if not, for the rest of his life!!!

i would say do the same to him because i luv animals but it makes me just as bad as him and im kind so i would say 10 years in jail and a 2000 dollar fine and community service for 2 years after jail

I am with everyone else who has answered. There should be NO mercy at all for him. He should be restrained and tied behind the same vehicle and pulled at just the right speed so that he can't quite catch his footing.....then the driver would hit the gas pedal HARD....then slow down.......watch him frail around and get up on his feet, then hit the gas pedal again......let him fly and whirl around, and watch him loose limb after limb, then slow down......and if he is still alive make him stand up (if he has any feet by now) then hit the gas again to yank him all around then slow down......wait until he is barely alive and drag him slowly (and painfully for him) behind the vehicle till he dies. Prison is too "safe" for him. Why give him the benefit of three hots and a cot? Animals/pets don't make me sick.......people like HIM make me sick! He will probably get a reprimand, jail time and a fine or possibly counseling, then he'll be out again all too soon. They will probably say something like: "He's mentally unstable and needs help."...Yeah, Right! He obviously knows how to become belligerently intoxicated.....so.....kill him slowly and painfully. Nothing less. (Am I bad or what!?) Tired of people like him being let go, pleading insanity or crying and carrying on to put on a show for the judges trying to make it look like he gave a damn all the while playing the system so he can get out earlier or something. Shall I continue? LOL!

Where did this happen? I want to find out what happens to him but I'm afraid to google it because I don't want to hear the details or see the pictures. Right now I'm crying and can hardly breathe or swallow. I can't take any more cruelty details. I used to work in uncovering cruelty and it became difficult to want to keep living so I have to keep my distance but I want to see that he pays. Justice won't be done because there is no justification. Vick didn't pay enough. Nobody EVER does! For those of you strong enough- please try to keep on top of this- keep up the pressure!! I hope the judge can try to imagine how the horse must have felt. The fear and panic and pain and terror!

How sick!!!!! this animal (and thats too good a word to describe him)should also be dragged naked over miles of burning coals...after first being shot in the kneecaps and covered with honey and releasing the bees on him....what a b*****d. I think he should be quartered having each limb attached to a horse and having them go in different directions :) but that's just me! haah

Hell...I say send the SOB to clean out the horse stalls at Churchill Downs in Louisville under the supervision of armed guards for the rest of his life. The idea of that really steams me!

I'm sorry, but I can't do this any more. When I posted this question I was upset and horrified by what I saw and heard. Cruelty to any creature, human or animal, is something that I cannot handle very well. I needed an outlet and this was it. The question was not for points and I have tried to point and comment on the answers, but every time I see it it just makes me cry and get upset all over again. So if there are any more answers and I don't point them, forgive me. And thank you, my AB friends for allowing me to vent.

tie is behind horses instead of a car, have them run (gallop?) until he's in a world of pain and then let him suffer in jail. what one earth was he thinking?!?!?! yeah, he was drunk but... that's no excuse at all.
