  • As much as the new testament is Gods words. (assuming Allah = god.) Mohummad repeated what god told him.
  • No it is the word of allah or moehamed a mortal prophet.
  • Well, no, but I'm a Catholic. But I know that Muslims believe it is the final word of God revealed through their prophet Muhammad
  • No more than the bible, the baghavad gita, the book of mormon, watchtower, the talmud or tom clancy novels, no...

  • No written book in the world is the word of god,but merely the word of man, imagining it is the word of god.So as the bible and other books it is not the word of god.
  • I do not. I am not a Muslim, nor am I a Christian so I have to say no. I have heard it recited in Arabic. It sounds beautiful. I respect the Muslim faith but I do not follow it.
  • No, I don't believe that.
  • I assume that Christians are allowed to answer? If so, I say no. The Bible is the Word of God, and so is Jesus. He is described in John 1 1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2He was with God in the beginning. 3Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 4In him was life, and that life was the light of men. 5The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood[a] it. 6There came a man who was sent from God; his name was John. 7He came as a witness to testify concerning that light, so that through him all men might believe. 8He himself was not the light; he came only as a witness to the light. 9The true light that gives light to every man was coming into the world.[b] 10He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. 11He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. 12Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— 13children born not of natural descent,[c] nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God. 14The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only,[d] who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.
  • No, I do not. I believe the Bible and the Bible alone to be God's inspired, perfect, inerrant, preserved, and infalliable Word. Thank you and may God bless you. :) -In Jesus' Name.
  • YES, Quran is the speech and word of God. Therefore, it is not surprising that it is inimitable. However, God has willed to make this point very clear to all of humankind, leaving them no room to argue, doubt or excuse themselves. In the Quran, God challenges humankind to produce anything similar to the Quran. In fact, the challenge from God goes even further than that: There is a challenge to produce even one chapter like the chapters of the Quran. More than 1400 years has passed and nobody, even any group could not produce a small single chapter of this supreme nature. This challenge is still open to humankind today. Anyone is free to attempt to rebuke the Quran by producing something similar to even a portion of the Quran. In reality, though, God even makes it clear that all of humankind will never be able to produce anything comparable to the Quran—anything amazing prophecy of the Quran. The challenge from God occurs in five different places in the Quran. Here are the relevant verses in the order that they were revealed by God: “And if you (Arab pagans, Jews, and Christians) are in doubt concerning that which We have sent down (i.e. the Quran) to Our servant (Muhammad), then produce a chapter the like thereof and call your witnesses (supporters and helpers) besides God, if you are truthful. But if you do it not, and you can never do it, then fear the Fire (Hell) whose fuel is men and stones, prepared for the disbelievers.” (Quran 2:23-24, emphasis added) “Or do they say, ‘He (Muhammad) has forged it?’ Say, ‘Bring then a chapter like unto it, and call upon whomsoever you can, besides God, if you are truthful!’” (Quran 10:38) “Or do they say, ‘He (Muhammad) forged it.’ Say, ‘Bring you then ten forged chapters like unto it, and call whomsoever you can, other than God (to your help), if you speak the truth.’” (Quran 11:13) “Say (to the people), ‘If all of humankind and jinns were together to produce the like of this Quran, they could not produce the like thereof, even if they helped one another.’” (Quran 17:88) “Or do they say, ‘He (Muhammad) has forged it?’ Nay! They believe not! Let them then produce a recital like unto it if they are truthful.” (Quran 52:33-34) In sum, if anyone still has any doubt about the Quran, let him rise to this challenge.
  • no, I believe the Bible is the WORD...FROM beginning to end it is THE MOST AMAZING STORY THAT MAN ALONE COULD NOT HAVE POSSIBLY WRITTEN...It has WITHSTOOD throughout history of man trying to ABOLISH it and Christ...but they are still here... God's children, HIM and HIS WORD and HIS SON, WILL BE PERSECUTED... always has been , always will be, we know that...until HE returns...
  • No I do not. In fairness I don't believe the bible is either.
  • if we had a book wrote in the word of god we would all speak the same language:)
  • The Quran is like nothing that you have ever read when you read it with a pure heart and a eye to see and an ear to hear. Many professors in the best Universities across the country would agree but only because they studied it on a level that allowed them to access from it profound information. Many of these professors are not muslims and may not believe that it is the word of God but they seem to agree that it is not the word of Muhammad either. Some reguard God as the higher self, others as the ultimate and limitless creator but no matter what you feel personally you can agree that if you read the Quran it speaks to you as if it was delivered to you personally and it challenges you to look at your self as an individual. If that is not God, then what is?
  • No ... While I am certain that the mere mortal humans that wrote it, truly believed that the words were divinely sent to them, I have doubts ... just as I have similar doubts about the vast majority of the world's so called holy books.
  • Absolutely. It cannot not be from Allah. Anyone who takes the time to read the Holy Qu'ran cannot deny the truth. I was a christian for 53 years but never felt any "connection" with the bible. I read the Qu'ran and converted immediately. For me there was no choice.
  • no i dont ,im christian so i wont will i but my partner of 14 years dose as hes muslim.
  • I don't see how it can be. It claims to agree with the Injeels, but it denies the very message they carry. It is clear that no human inspired it, but with all the contradictions from Scripture, I must ask if the angel of light who spoke to Mohammed was indeed of God, or of another source. Jesus is far more than a mere prophet. He claimed to be the very Son of God, the great I AM Himself. He is the Only Begotten Son of YHWH, yet the Qu'ran tells us that Allah does not beget, nor is He begotten. Either one scripture is lying, or these are two different gods.
  • No, I don not believe there is any such creature as god, or allah, or any such omniscient creator.
  • No, not at all. I belong to Jesus. :)
  • god will never ask people to slay and terrorize each other.
  • i dont belive in god threfor it is hypotheticly as valid as anay religous book around the world
  • No but the phone book, ah, that I believe!
  • As much as I believe that the Bible is the word of god
  • Of course! It is the only truth. Salaam
  • so, basically a Moslem believes that "God whispered" to Mohammed only.... God wrote their Book and no one elses? I KNOW Moses would love this......
  • Yes. Simple and straight. It can only be the word of God. Okay D/R can start now.
  • no.........
  • Yes,and I think I have a pretty good reason for it, You most of the discoveries made today by Science was recorded in Quran for more than 1400 years. Some people say that Quran was written by Muhammad. Well I guess they haven't read Quran. In Quran the steps in which a baby takes form in the mother belly has been described so clearly in different points do you believe that a illiterate man can describe these points. Until 20th century people thought that only brain works in recognizing a part of your body which gets hurt. But today we come to know that there are pain receptors in our skins that do 60% of the job. It is given in Quran that the wrongdoers will be thrown into flames of hell, and when there skins will be roasted they will be given a new and fresh skin so they can feel the pain. Do you think that a illiterate man could write these kind speculations in Quran. Only the God knows this. So Quran is the "word of God" and when they
  • Not quran, nor torah or bible, but here is the paradox. In my view, God does not exist, but God is extremely power concept, which gives a huge group advantage to the believers. Note: group, rather individual advantage! The advantage is so important, that actually supported in humans on the biological level. We have a brain area in the frontal lobe, which generates hormons in support to ones beleives. I practice a "controled foolishness" regarding my beleives in God - obey my religious rules, pray with a full faith and so on.
  • I don't believe anyone knows the word of God, but I'm not going to shove that down anyone's throats. If Christians think it's the bible, than more power to them. If Muslims think its the Quaran, than they certainly have the right to do so.
  • I always thought it was the word of Mohammad...a person born to TWO parents, and that makes him a sinner, having inherited sin...sin being falling short of perfection. God said that from the son of Hagar, the servant girl of Abraham [ and also the first son of Abraham...Ishmael, would come a great nation. It did...the nation is Islam.. But it did not become God's CHOSEN people, from which came Jesus...down from Isaac.
  • No, it is the word of a common man who thought God was talking to him
  • Yes, absolutely.
  • No, since there is no god. He simply communicated with higher forms of matter and how they work, like a lot of channelers do. Channeled material is at it's best only 50% correct because the info is translated by the human's memory, which always taint the message.
  • yes i do! i believe that bc the quran, never once has even had one word change in a sentence. in every quran you'll find if its a ,book or if u read it from the internet, nothing is different there all the same words and the stories and lessons that they teach. the bible has changed many times. so who knows what is the original teaching and words of jesus christ.
  • No. I do not. The Bible is also under scrutiny though.
  • yes, but i can prove it 2...many occasions about women and their pregnancy have been described in the quran and also many other things that's happening today that can lead to the day of judgment.. the question here is belief
  • I'm an Atheist so no.
  • A big YES, because the prophet Mohammed (pbuh) couldn't have made it up as he was illiterate , nor any perfetc poet or writer could, Quaran was a miracle for ARABS.
  • No. There is an unwholesome amount of kissing God's ass in that thing. Why would someone write a book about themselves so full of complements, brown nosing, and ass kissing? If you weren't Bu$h that is.
  • Yes, I believe in the Quran as the word of God sent to Muhammad by the arch angel gabriel Peace be upon them.
  • I believe the word of god is written in our DNA. The language of our DNA software is base 4 - 4 proteins. . We are slowly unlocking the secrets of our DNA... the math is in place, just about. I say in 50 or so years the pieces will rapidly fall into place... in time we will be all software... free to roam he universe... compose great works... like god. . If we survive as a species. If we aren't hit with a comet, destroy our environment, have a nuclear winter or become moslom.
  • Yes it is ......
  • I do not believe there is any such thing a a higher being/creator that many people call God. In my opinion all the stories in the Quran and the Bible are made up by men just like all fairy tales.
  • Yes, of coarse I do.
  • Yes in so far as it's deemed to be the creator of the universe. Whether it's proud of it or even noticed it is another matter. None of the guys who are supposed to be immortal are still around to tell us. Which seems to question the guys accuracy when they copied it down and seem to rule out this god or allah being anything like us. Guys do copy it down don't they? Your surely not saying every copy of the koran has existed since the 6th century AD, but even thats a bit short if God wrote it why did it wait so long? The egyptians could read. It's probably not even interested in us, with a whole universe to take care of who can blame it. You don't have to count the bubbles to know the pots boiling.
  • yes i do : First u have to know that Quran is not a book of science, it consists of some scientific proofs to convince those who trust science. It's a miraculous book, it talks about everything mankind should do in order to live a happy life before and after death. Perhaps u could read a few pages, i recommend number 67, and maybe u can try to listen to it in a sheikh's voice (even though u don't know Arabic). if u cant yet believe, plz answer this : what's the whole point of living a limited life ? shouldn't be a God who created this wide well-managed universe from the movement of galaxies, to the numerous metabolic activities in a human body, which a human would get dizzy just by even thinking about them ? and finally, find me 1 error in the Quran that doesn't make sense or that can lead to corruption on Earth ?
  • There is not a single bit of doubt in it that the HOLY QURAN is a compilations of revelations of GOD to the HOLY PROPHET MUHAMMAD (may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). Please view http://www.alislam.org/quran/ for more.
  • Would a loving God allow believers to go out and bomb and kill other people? And for WHAT? Political reasons? Would a loving God allow an 8 year old child, accused of stealing, have his arm crushed by a car wheel, while being held down by an adult? The Mullahs of Islam condone these things bu their silence. and it is they who claim the Quran as their book.
