  • Are you going to put them outside of schools and colleges also?..and malls....and....
  • Citizens should take responsibility for their own safety. I am for "right to carry".
  • It is interesting. Virginia Tech, gun free zone, 33 dead. Trolley Square, Salt Lake City, UT, off duty police officer packing heat engages the shooter, 5 dead. Then there are the Colorado shootings that happened just last weekend. When the gunman entered the Church in Denver, he had a rifle, two handguns, and plenty of ammo. He could have killed a lot of people, but an armed, volunteer security guard confronted him as he entered the church and shot him. He then shot himself dead rather than allow himself to be arrested. This is a pattern that is repeated many times over. When someone decides to go on a killing spree in a supposedly gun free zone, lots of people die. When someone decides to go on a killing spree in a place where there are armed, responsible citizens, then many fewer die because the gunman has to contend with the other armed people. Here is another good one (http://www.snopes.com/crime/dumdum/gunshop.asp).
