  • 12.25 total overtime hours. A weeks work hours do not add with the next weeks, no matter what the pay frequency.
  • It should be 12.25. One thing you may need to watch for though, is if overtime is paid current or in arrears. Some companies that pay every 2 weeks pay regular time in actual time, but pay overtime in arrears. Meaning, that you may not get the overtime pay until the next paycheck. Overtime is determined by the week it was worked, not over a pay period. So, they cannot deduct 2 hours of overtime pay for the week you only worked 38 hours. You either have to utilize paid time off, or not get paid 2 hours of regular time if you have no paid time off left.
