  • I would use the money to help my parents pay off the house, as well as give them money for house repairs. Once I'm done with that, I would divide up the remainder of the money and give it to people who I know could really use it. If there is any money left over, I would come back to you and give you the rest to thank you for your kindness. As for the proper English format, I think this might be a more appropriate way to word your question: "Pretend that I decided to give away a million dollars to anyone who is able to give me a good reason to why he or she deserves that money. What would your reason be?" I'm not sure if that is grammatically correct, but I hope it is.
  • I will help you put this into proper English (capital E) for one million dollars...
  • "I have decided to give away 1 million dollars to whomever can provide the best explanation of why they should be the recipient."
  • I think the grammar is perfect as it is. I have no reason for wanting the money
  • grammar is perfect. You could use a comma after please..but it is not really required. I don't need a million dollars..I think you should donate and make sure that it gets to a reputable charity. I would vote for something to do with AIDS orphans in Africa.
  • I would use the money to buy a Bugatti Veryon! There is nothing wrong with your English there except the capital E for English. :)
  • I would retire!!!!!! Pay off my bills, school loans, and I would help others of course. It would make me so happy, not to know I would not have to go to that "arm pit" of a job. I am so unhappy in my job, but because we have to work to survive, I have to keep it. It pays well and I am now to old to start over.
  • I dont want a million dollars but because of a garnishment of my ex wifes bills she was supposed to pay in our divorce decree i am losing everything and ive worked hard to get to where i am. • If I had a milion dollars,I would pay off the few bills I would also invest alot of it so i could live off the dividends. Set up funds for my trucking business we just started 2 years ago. That can't seem to get off the ground because of the price of fuel. Get Health Insurance for my husband and I. I would set my mother-in-law up with a trust fund since she is 73 years old and widowed and lives on social security, help my mom out and help alot of charities, starting with women and children who have been physically and sexually abused as I was. I would also like to help Md Anderson cancer center where my grandfather died,I also want to help children who have cancer. I want do something to help brighten their days and help their parents anyway I can. Their are so many people in this world who need help and I would love to be able to help them. I know what struggle means as I have been there and its not easy being on the bottom wrung in life.b69kim@sbcglobal.net
  • For me it would go straigt into an investment account. with the returns i would become a pilot and donate my time to an organisation here called "angel flight" where sick children and adults are flown to hospitals free of charge. Also after growing up ina hard life i would take my partner and go to italy to get married (We've been together for 6 years, engaged for 2, im 21) and to just show people close to me the better side of life.
  • I would like to have it to help my husband and I out and to buy a nice home for my mom and a nice home for my daughter and grandchildren, so they could get out of that bad neighbor hood they are in and so they would have a bigger and better home and then I would pay off our bills. Also I think you did a good job on writing your question. Sherry Abaffy sherry.abaffy@yahoo.com
  • I caught my willy in a machine at work and it was half ripped off so I'm feeling really down.
  • Sick, starving, dying children are the best reason I can think of and I think anyone who has the financial capacity to help ease their suffering - should do so :) ~ I agree with abby regarding the correct wording of the question :)
  • I would give you $950,000 back and only keep the remainder for finishing off my education, so I can become a productive memberof society contributing to the economy. Reformatted: If you were to have recieved a one million dollar donation, how would this benefit you, and why would you be the best recipiant?
  • im so broke it really aint even funny
  • I think the best answer to this question would be in not being able to use the money for personal use, such as for yourself or family. But honestly when people are asking for money they are thinking about themselves. I personally am tired of struggling and I see a lot of millionares that are capable of helping someone less fortune. I have seven kids I would love to be able to see my children go to college and live successful lives. This is my dream and I would like to see this before I die. I am unhappy but money will not make me happy. Seeing my children happy and changing lives around me by doing something good for others will make me happy. If I had a million dollars first I would put $100,000 in the bank for all 7 of my children. They have to go to college before they can get all the money. But I'll give them some money as they need it. I am recently separated from my husband. He has drug problems, I would give him a little such as 10,000 to see if he could handle it. And if things go well I'll for him within a years time I would get back together with him. I love him so much but I can't deal with the drugs. Myself I'll continue my education to become an accontant and own my business. I am 41 years old, I've been married 21 years to the husband of my seven children. I never had to work until my husband relapsed on drugs. For the last 10 years I have been struggling, but God has been with me. I just want to be happy by seeing my children prosper and see their dreams come to life. I want to help others by being a channel. I believe myself and my children can and will impact the lives around us.
  • I don't deserve a million dollars but I would love to have the opportunity to have a million dollars. To help my children and to complete college with a doctorate or masters degree. I want to start a business that will help people. I am a giver already. I just want to help more people not only through my life but also through the lives of my children.
  • Well... if you can give me that million dollar. I would surely use it for refugee ( From Burma). Reason: Because those refugee don't even have clothing, food, school fee. etc.
  • A lot of people would probably tell you something wonderous, like they're going to help the homeless with their money or something. They'll probably say it would help save a loved one, or that they it allow them to join the Peace Corps. I'm not going to bullshit you. If you gave me a million dollars, the first thing I would do is purchase a nice house in front of some large body of water. I would pay off my debts and buy a good solid car. I would relax and simply enjoy not HAVING to work for once in my life. If I took a look at how much I had left and saw an opportunity to contribute to the greater good, I probably would, just like a lot of people. But it would be disingenuous to imply that the first thing someone would do with a million dollars would be philanthropic. Let's not kid ourselves here people. You're not going to give anyone a million dollars and if you did, the first person they are going to spend it on is going to be themselves.
  • I LOVE kids, particularly high school aged kids. I have been teaching them for the past 14 years. I have been watching the "at risk" children and noticed that traditional education is NOT working for such a wide variety of them. If I had a million dollars, I would use a bit of it to get out of debt and let my mind busy itself with a more creative way to help kids become equipped with the tools to be marketable right out of high school. I would buy a state of the art computer lab to teach kids desktop publishing skills, graphic arts, journalism, film making, screen writing, web designing, and all sorts of media related skills to open up a whole category of employability that they may not have even considered. As a sidenote, also, I would offer group meetings to help them develop coping skills that, perhaps, they might be missing in their daily lives at home. SO, TO SUM UP: I would need to use some for my family, but I would pay the generosity forward by giving of myself and the resources available to improve the lives of others. It's a mission I'm already on; I just don't have any money.
  • To put your question in proper english format.... If I were to give away a million dollars to the person who can give me a good reason, and how the money would be used, what would your answer be? I could use this money to help myself, my family and others in many ways. I am a disabled mother, that has not been able to work in 3 years, I live in pain every day. I have applied for Social Security Disablity and have been denied, still fighting, but do not know if I will ever win my case, nor do I think it would be sufficient income to live on. So, I've decided to try and find a way to start a non-profit organization. I have my business ideas, and contacts, but because I am unable to work consistantly I will need help from others to make this happen. If you were to give me a million dollars, I would use some of the money to pay for a lease for 1-3 years, and take care of my small debt (car note) and enough money to put in the bank and live on. The rest, will be used directly to hire someone to help me get started and run my non profit. My non profit will specifically be for Silent Disabilities, and Neurological/Spinal condition education and research. My hope is to be able to help research these conditions that not much is known about, help familys cope and adjust to the drastic changes that these conditions cause. I'd also like to somehow incorporate helping families that have disabling conditions that drastically affect financial stability. I for one can say how hard it is to loose your ability to work, for one you re-evaluate your self worth. Add that to the stress of not being able to support yourself because you cannot maintain employment is another thing. So, If you are giving away a million dollars, and decided to give it to me, you would be helping me become self sufficent and able to support my children, give me and my family peace of mind. You'd also be helping me be able to contribute to society in a way that would help people with silent disablities, both directly through support and indirectly through further medical studies. Also, You'd be helping the employment rate. I'd be willing to account for all of the monies...
  • I don't think that anyone is entitled to a random million dollar charity.
  • Watch Opera sometime, people do that and the person who recieves it blows it quickly.
  • i would establish a foundation and hire all my relatives to help find worthy causes to give away the money that is earned in interest. With decent investments, the money would last for several generations, and my family would be fully employed.
  • I would use it to research and invent a way to create food, water and Material instantly therefore ending the economic system and promote a new way to encourage service workers. Who would need money if all our needs are met? How? Computers...If we could copy a file and instantly create another file it's pretty special. Doing that with anything in the real world is something that we should try. If that's impossible why not find a way for us to get inside a computer system and live there? Or turn the earth into a huge computer system? Also I'd try to research a way to end pain and death again by getting inside a computer world. Becoming unable to feel the physical and it's effects, or at least having the option of turning it on or off would be great. Another thing that would be great is to create a God. There is no active God in this world. Therefore we need to create one who is perfect for everything. A human? A Machine? A life form? So creating unlimited resources, eliminating physical feeling, and making a God would make a new paradise whether it be in on Earth or inside some system. It certainly would take money, lots of money ,however with help from everyone it could happen. Use all the money to end the need for money. End all our problems by simply creating a new world, or making radical changes to our planet and the universe.
  • $400,000-buy a mansion in my home state of Alabama I already picked it out. $100,000-used Ferrari $65,000-there is a commercial building in my home town I want $400,000-invest into stocks, bonds, and a savings account $35,000-shopping spree with my wife
  • 300,000 charity a limited number of it will go to things like games books and entertainment etc pay bills for my mother college fund the rest will go into a mutual account and interest will build up giving me a very slight additional ammount of money
  • i would like to give away at least half to old kindergarden friends that don't to talk to me anymore coppinger424@msn.com
  • I would give it back...
  • i would use it on my eduction.. or my children's education.. people can take away your personal materialistic possessions.. they can take away your money..they can take away your shelter and clothing.. but they can never take away your education. through education, people are able to help others through knowledge, wisdom, and their creativity. it can be the catalyst to inspiring change. it can change lives, it can shift unfortunate circumstances, it can produce happiness after the hard work has been done, it can make people proud of those that achieve and those themselves that have achieved. the things you've read and learned may cost hundreds and thousands of dollars depending on the level of education.. but independence is priceless, the kind of nourishment you provide your children (whether it be through the brain or straight to the stomach) is priceless, the impression you give off to others at first meetings is priceless.. moreover, through an education, comes experience.. just because you have the money doesn't mean an education will come easy. you have to work for it.. and the experience as a result, would also be beneficial. therefore, if someone asked me what is the most valuable thing i can purchase for money.. i would say an education. it's versatile and invaluable and it comes in handy at dinner parties for great conversations :)
  • I would buy an apartment complex and turn it in to a place for mothers with children, who need a fresh start. Pay off my house and bills. Your wording is pretty good.
  • With the inevitable onset of home repossessions and family breakups Id buy a guest house in-order family's have a comfortable stress free stay before, local authority's can provide permanent accommodation,, Every soul has the right to a good nights sleep on clean linen! gary.lawlor@hotmail.com
  • After my heart attack I have not been able to find a job.I was layed off the day I came back to work. My car was repoed and I can hardly pay my morgage. Your question was written properly.
  • My reason would be that I need it. I mean everyone needs it right now but I have a child and anotherone on the way, my other half got laid off his job and we have no form of income. As it stands we cant even afford to get food we have to go to the church and beg and then wait in line for two hours for a small bag of food witch only lasts a few days. Whats a good answer anyways? Just about eveyone now days could think of one reason or the next they would need that money.
  • Go to an impoverished area and set up a microlending bank.
  • IF THE PERSON WHO ASKED THE QUESTION WAS SERIOUS ABOUT GIVING 1MILLION DOLLARS AWAY I WOULD ANSWER THE QUESTION BUT I WILL NOT BARE MY SOUL FOR THE AMUSEMENT OF OTHERS.I HAVE A REAL NEED FOR THAT KIND OF MONEY TO HELP MY FAMILY SO IF SOMEONE WAS SERIOUS I WOULD GIVE A SERIOUS AND TRUTHFULL ANSWER TO HIM OR HER.THIS IS A PERSON WHO IS LOOKING FOR AMUSEMENT AT OTHERS EXPENSE. I DON'T RESPECT PEOPLE WHO DO THAT. MANY OTHERS BESIDES MYSELF HAVE A REAL NEED FOR FINANCIAL AID. FOR MYSELF AND THEM.THIS QUESTION IS A CRUEL JOKE.
  • ok...I would send my autistic granddaughter to the best school there is. I would pay off my house and credit cards. And since I am a grandma raising two little granddaughters I would use some of it to take a vacation, set up a college fund, donate a scholarship to a needy child in my area and build a bathroom upstairs off my bedroom. wahooooooo....... Put the rest in the savings for a rainy day.
  • I have the same reasons a million other people do. I want a home with a backyard, college accounts for my children, and the ability to retire when the time comes.
  • It's an easy question to answer. I'm 51 and a single father of two growing boys. I lived abroad, in Israel and was married to a woman who left one day, turned to drugs and left me to raise the kids, ages 2 and 4. That was in 1998. In 2002 I returned to America with the children after a long court fight with the kids grandmother. I also sold my house and paid attornies fees that broke me. When I returned here I found out that I was in a financial bind despite help from my parents. I'm 51 years old and need the help. There you have it. Except, I have met a wonderful woman, also my age and we wish to get married. Yhe problem is I won't be able to until I know I can support her. I am in danger of losing this relationship but I will not quit, on anything. Steven
  • I would give free power to the world and end all of the fighting over oil and by doing that I could save the planet and save countless lives of all species. You may ask how well I am working on a new power source for cars and houses that will end peoples reliance on fuel and power co. electricity which will stop the need for oil and stop the need to pollute the earth with burnt fuels.
  • I would use the money to open a school that teachers women how to give head!
  • I would use the money to start my own prison minstry. To win the lost souls to Christ.
  • I would pay off my education.. and then give the rest of it to my grandparents.. who gave up their luxurious lifestyle of maids and butlers decades ago so that they can give their five children the best possible education available. They now live alone in a cozy home, barely able to afford the basic utilities. The education that they provided for my mother allowed her to escape a 3rd world country and live a prosperous life in America. I have an appreciation for my grandparents and the sacrifices they had made. In turn, my mother has made the same exact sacrifices of which I have realized that I have taken granted for. I wish to give back to both my grandparents and my mother.
  • my wife is sick, has been since she was 18. I was federaly employed with the Transportation security Administration but her health forced me to quit and so we could live with her parrents. she is currently in the hospital, we have 6 digits worth debt and only a saturn to show for it, the stupid doctors can't even hammer down a final diagnosis so she could get on disability. I should go to school to be a mechanical engineer because that would be a job I would love and excel at but can not afford to do so because no amount of aid anyone would be willing to give us would add up to the payments for the debts we have accrued with her health. there is no end to this downward spiral in sight. medical bills are taking us to court and most importantly, every word of this is absolutly true
  • You have got to be joking! If you had the money you could help those in real need, help your family, start a business, start a life for yourself, your husband/wife and your kids. Build something you can be proud of, something you enjoy. Besides that their are alot of people that will never see that kind of money and you don't know them. So instead of doing something "good", you could be giving it to someone who may use it on drinking and drugs and who knows what else.
  • I would use the money to buy a tunnel boring machine to dig a hole to China to save tons of money on shipping expenses.
  • I won't tell because you'll not give. Ha!
  • My reason would be that I would be willing to match your gift and donate it to help the folks that need it most. The homeless in the u.s :)
  • You have put the question in a good format. As to good reasons lol, there are too many to list. Let someone else get the money.
  • I WANT TO START A NEW LIFE WITH MY GIRLFRIEND IN SOUTH CAROLINA AND I NEED MONEY TO DO IT PLEASE I DON"T NEED A MILLION $1000 WILL HELP ME ENOUGH THAT"S ALL I NEED I WANT TO BE WITH HER THIS CHRISTMAS PLEASE! if you will help me my email's gary_tenorio@yahoo.com
  • My education and then start a company. So I can pay you back more.
  • I need a nice 5 ft gold plate with my name printed on it to go in my 100ft swimming pool. Only then will my collection be complete.
  • Pay off my parents property for 260,000 and mine for 265,000. Then I would use 100,000 to put a second floor on my house so I would have room for all of my family to come while not having to sleep in the garage just because I moved in my elderly parents who are waiting out the economic crisis to sell their own place that is the stress of their existence. Then I would pay off my 16,000 in debt, And I would buy the lot behind my house for another 40,000. I would spend 2,400 on the second half of my temperpedic split queen bed because I gave mine to my dad who just turned 86. They're awsome, they go up and down on the foot and head and have a massage feature I barely ever use, and even though they seem stiff at first, they are perfect for people with chronic pain. I would give 4,000 apiece for my stepdaughter and I to get braces (8,000) and 10,000 for veneers for me and set aside 10,000 for veneers for her if she needed them later. 3,000 would go to lasik for me, and 3,000 for her later. 4,000 would go to maintain our cars, and 6,000 to buy our friend's truck that we banged up the bumper on that he wants to sell anyway. 40,000 would be set aside for my stepdaughter and another 40,000 for my stepson to go to college, in a trust for monthly payments, tuition, or perhaps other things if schooling never manifests. I would keep another 40,000 for a child I might have myself oneday. I would use up to 30,000 for for opening a home based print shop, proofing and copy editing, and publishing business that is already in the works (at least in my head and on paper). The remaining 122,600 would wait in the bank for downpayment on my husband's (the excecutive chef with 20 years in the business) restaurant when we move to Texas, with the 50% profit of my parents property Ithat will be split with my brother which should be in the ball park of profits on my parent's property which should be in the ballpark of 290,000. However, we may see none of that at all, but because my parents and I are on fixed incomes as they are elderly, and I am disabled, we would be able to use our fixed income for the bills and things we need without worry of being short every month which we currently are. I could even have the bills drafted and include my sponsee child I had to stop sponsoring and other charities. Mostly, although I wouldn't be a milionaire, I would be able to live the rest of my disabled life in peace, with room in my house for my family when they need it. I am also a career student, but if we worked it properly, I could even go to a proper university on ground in Texas to finish my schooling. Just not worrying so much! Spending more time with the kids, finally feeling safe enough to have a child myself! Being able to just be the asrtist I am! Also, buying any farm that auctions off cheap to grow biointensive gardens instead of poorly maintainable commercial crops, while designing new, smaller, rentable living units for low income people (no rent for the farm workers and families), so that I can go on to do the same in countries that really need it all over the world, with investors and the people who designed and have a personal stake in the method that can use these places to teach others, and feed the world. Oh, though, not to worry all the time! My endless dream...I'll acheive it someday with or without help, but I have so many ideas and wishes that could help the world... PS. Your question is perfect for familiar speech between informal parties. I would only add an "as" before the word "to," as in the following: "Say I decided to give away a million dollars to anyone who can give me a good reason as to why they should have that money, what would your reason be?" However, if you want it to read more formally it might read as follows: "If I decided to give away a million dollars to anyone who gave me the best reason as to why they should have that money, what would be your reason?"
  • I would put 50,000 each aside for my fiance's daughters to go to college, as well as another 20,000 for them to get a car when they are of age. I would buy a house, get decent cars for my fiance and I. I would like to have a nice wedding:) I would go to school myself to become a child psychiatrist, and my fiance would go for what he decides. The rest would go to help family and charity.
  • "If I decided to give away a million dollars to the person who I felt most deserved it, would you ask for it? Why would you feel you deserve the money?" I feel as though I deserve it for rewriting your question.
  • I'm going to be honest here, I would get my family out of debt and set aside trust funds for my grandchildren's education. I've always wanted to revisit the Netherlands. The biggie as far as charities for me is victims of domestic violence. I'd set up a larger shelter than we have now and it would be fully furnished. Victims often have to get out with just the clothes on their backs, with little to keep the children occupied. I'd provide some educational toys along with some supplies for the ones who have an interest in the arts. With every child having different talents I'd like to make sure there was a variety. Also the youth center here would get some up-to-date computers. The center is very well supervised so there would be no worries on that level. "I have decided to give a million dollars to anyone who can give me an honest answer as to why they are deserving of my gift."
  • Hello my Lucky friend! *waves! LTNS My answer is give it to me because it is seldom the case where people are given second chances to improve their lives once they screw them up. I was a victim of circumstance and rather than rise above, I simply didn't, I wasn't afforded the time or the oppurtunity to make better the cards and the hand I was delt. Now that I know better. I would like that chance to do right, what I didn't the first time around when I was supposed to. As far as putting it into proper English format... Well that is part of the problem. If you give me the million dollars, i can go back to school and learn how so that I can help you do that! lol... great question.
  • I wouldn't really care if u gave it to me i mean the world does not revoulve around mony
  • I'm a single mom of two one daugther and a son. I have been decated to them every since the day they were born. I have given them what honest money I have made and what it would buy for them. provide a home for them that i have came so close losing so many time. But by the grace of god I manage to still hold on to it. I'm so close to paying our home off down to the last little bit and had a target to happen that took me out of the working field. all of bad thing happen seem like at one time when was about to become debt free my job ended, my rack his motorcycle and paraylze him he is not able to do anything for himself he's just a live person in a body, without me be here to care for him he would proably be in a nursing home a young 27 year old man. That i have decated my life to taken care of. only if i had some money life can be better for us i can get thing that help make his life better. we are so lost we dont know what to do are where to go we pray for help we ask god for the will to go on each day. where do u go for help who will help. just provide a van for us so he can roll up in it in his wheel chair without me have to wait for someoone to lift him into a vecihle or me trying to lift him n and out. just make life a little better for me and my son.
  • I would pay off my mortgage of 182,000, we were hit by Real estate market downfall in California and I would payoff one hundred fifty thousand in debts of second mortgage and credit cards, donate fifty thousand, put twenty in upgrades to farm we had to purchase after we lost our house, build a barn for horses, as they are having a hard time without it, use the horses for handicapped kids therapy once barn built, then put in a hanger on our property, we have ten acres, so my husband could use his plane for charity flights to help those in need, we would put back some for our adopted sons college and retirement. We will never be rich, but we could have our dignity back and that is important. Thanks Darlene
  • I know this post is quite dated... As the question was posted over a year ago... I just feel the "want" to answer it since my husband and I just had this same conversation yesterday... Before I answer... I believe though there are many ways to make your question, I like: "If I were to gift you with one million dollars, how would this benefit you, what would you do with the funds and why would you be the best recipiant? Now... A little back ground... I was born a fatherless child, to an alcoholic mother who subjected me to her many abusive boyfriends... I experienced a group home, foster homes, being dished off to family... And finally struggling on my own from the age of 16. Pressently I am 29 years old. I am a victom to no one - for I am a survivor. I go through my life -- mother to my 3 children, wife to my husband and a woman who goes through each day holding my head high. I use my past to help others... By sharing my experiences... So though I know you have heard that "I would use the money to help others"... With a part of the funds I would... I would find people in need (who remind me of the once broken child I was and help them to help themselves)... I would try and get (my still)alcoholic mother into a dry out center... And of course there is a selfish side to myself who has always dreamp of a forever home. Nothing flashy and extensive... Just something that provides my families needs... With room for a chicken coop, a dog and room to toss the ball in the yard, and an area for my husband and me to work from home (we already work from home in order to raise our children instead of having them in childcare). My husband and I would buy a second hand motorhome and tour around for a month or more... Then we would come home and live our lives quietly, simply... We would help our family... And live under the same rules that we do now; Karma; doing good unto others. Thats it.
  • If I decided to give a million dollars to the person who gave me the best reason why they should have the money,I would want to know why they needed it.
  • Well, I would buy a peice of land and build the home my Dad talked about for the last 30 years he can no longer build anything and it has since become my dream I whould do this with my 3 girls. I would show my 3 daughters that good things do happen to good people. They are good kids and they've never had a home of their own. Weve had to move around alot (I never had that as a child) Id like to show them how it feels to have pride in something. "Iam determined to do this and will find a way someday" (but those words sound alot like my Dads and he never got to). A million dollars whould make it happen before my 3 girls are ready to leave home.I just dont want to run outta time. Thats what I whould do, How about you? I dont think you need your question put in proper english any more I think someone ^ up there did :)..........................................................................Also Id give some to that poor guy who lost half his Mr.Winkey OUCH (even if he didnt thats creative:)
  • First I would definitely use it to pay off student loans 8 ) Then I'd probably save some, maybe spend a bit on myself, family, and friends.. Travel the world!
  • One million dollars would change my life. It would change anyone's life. If I were to receive a million dollars it would change the lives of my whole family. I would share it with all of them. We would all be debt free and able to live our lives free of financial worry. We would than be able to help others in need. In ways we have only dreammed of. You could change our lives and in the process change the world.
  • I would but every penny into trying to find out if aliens ( from space ) exist. the format is fine- when do u want to send the check?
  • You should give me one million dollars because I have had too hard a life to be buried in bills. I would invest this one million dollars into a restaurant/nightclub which would have live music. I would also set up to take the 1st million that I make form it and pay it forward to some other person who answered this question for me. Thanks for reading my request.
  • I would spend my money on a 1968 mustang fastback. Then spend the rest on stupid shit I do not need. As for the sentance english 10 didn't go that well, but it sounds good enough to me.
  • I have decided to give one million dollars to help anyone capable of demonstrating what makes them deserving of these funds!
  • I would make the best porn ever. It would have a good plot that the viewer actually cared about, solid camera work and good acting. I promise you this because I want you to be able to use your brain when you masturbate. There is a lost generation of kids jacking off to midgets and cows. As a child we found playboys that had beautiful things like...titties, but they also had damn good articles. i want to give that to today's youth. I want them to be able to EDjaculate, learn and stroke, beat and reflect because I care. do you need my paypal?
  • i would move out of my parents house, finish putting myself through colege and invest a large portion of the money in different things. maybe some hospitals or restaurants, and definaltly some gold. i guess im not as fansy as some of the other ppl here but i am a simple person with simple desires. :P glad i had a chance to share that with you and anyone else reading.
  • Smoke weed.
  • I would simply tell you that money isn`t the most important thing. I would give it to someone close to me who it could seriously help. No joke either. I work for my money at a fast food job right now and I don`t take anyone`s money to survive.
  • Having lived in a 3rd world country for a period of time, I would dedicate most of the money to helping the poverty-stricken in Cartagena, Colombia achieve better lives. My husband and I already spend what precious "extra" money we have to helping as many of the people we know struggle to even eat everyday. (We can't even pay our bills most of the time.) Truthfully, we live as cheaply as possible so that we might be able to help down there. We already go down there about once a year and bring down as much as possible to give away. We are working to get a charity to assist with one neighborhood of 200 children to have one meal a day. We try to find money from others to help some start businesses, buy clothes, food, medicine, or help them build a home. Many of them live in huts in very unsanitary conditions (open sewers in the streets so it runs into their homes, etc.). So beyond helping my family get out of debt and investing a little, I would spend the rest on the thousands of families in that area that so desperately need it. If you want to help donate, go to http://www.sxhu.org/. I've included a pic so you know it's for real.
  • i just lost my job.never had any luck.hard worker.cant feed my kids.need help but dont know who to ask or how to ask.really need help.
  • Usually if something sounds TOO GOOD to be true, it usually is, however, "SAY" this is really true, the reason for me would be that I am a struggling single mother of 2 boys (19 and 4 yrs. old), who recently lost a good paying job as a commercial real estate specialsit, due to the current condition of the market. I am currently on unemployment and to be brutally honest, we are almost homeless. I have lost pretty much everything and have been unemployed for almost 6 months during which time, I have stayed busy doing community service for a worknet program in order to recive $241 per month. In addition, I have been job searching. I have also sold many items in my home to pay neccessity bills and to put food on the table. The old saying, "When it rains, it pours", is certainly TRUE because after losing my job on 10-17-2008, my 3-year old toddler, Storm Jeremiah, was struck by a drunk driver on 10-19-2008, while visiting his father. He was bay-flighted to a Children's Hospital and BY THE GRACE of God, he is alive and WELL today. Therefore, I consider material things to be rubbish, the BEST things in life TRULY are FREE. If I were to receive a million dollars, I would donate some to charitable organizations, given the curretn state of the economy but only after THOROUGH investigation of such organizations, as to how they would disperse the funds and whether I would be permitted to review said disbersements. I would also buy my family a moderate home and buy a newer used car because mine is FALLING apart. Next, I would look into a pre-paid college funds for my toddler, Storm, offer limited financial help to my 19-year old, Kirk, currently in college and working, Additionally, I would pay off some credit card debt I have accumulated. (About $8,000) Finally, I would put the rest in a bank account that was guaranteed, probably an e-Trade savings account. In answer to the proper english format inquiry, I personally felt the english was rather good. However, it could read: I have possibly decided to give away a million dollars. Please give me a good reason as to why that person should be you. By the way, I can be contacted at allaboutbags@tampabay.rr.com
  • Here's a good reason, I only need $100,000, you can keep the other $900,000.
  • Its really pretty simple. I have worked so hard all my life. now i have less income due to hard economic times. we are selling our house to downgrade so we can afford it. I always see people less fortunate than me. but I dont have the funds necessary to help them out. I really need to relax and quit worring about money so i can devote my time to helping less fortunate people. and how can i do that when i am so cunsumed by working hard and trying to provide for my family. So helping me would help so many others that would not even get a chance to be helped by you..
  • So I could give it to my mom. She has worked so hard her whole life. She has been a single mom every since I was 2 and she deserves some happiness.
  • I can't give you a real reason why you should give me a million dollars. You should keep it for yourself to make sure you have a good future. I believe in myself and think that I can make my own million! (Not that getting a million wouldn't be nice!) More than money, I would just prefer to have a little security and happiness. My dream is to have a nice little house for my kids, enough money to buy what I need without worry, and days at the beach!!!
  • Give to Grameen Bank in Ney York so they can start to give loan to millions of small bussiness owners even some beggars. This Bank has helped some people who once lived on welfare become independent and productive.
  • Five months after I started dating my now husband he had an on-the-job accident. It was a head injury that causes him double vision which most doctors have said will last the rest of his life. It has also caused other side effects that I would rather not mention. We have been married for over a year now. It seems we always have debt with trying to figure out how to help him and he has been laid off recently as well. I would use the money to get him to the best specialists. Then with the leftover I would start a charity that my husband and I have discussed starting. Also, your quesetions seems to be in proper english format.
  • I need the money to help my son get his medicine and my grandma needs her medcine she can,t work she is to old. and help my daghter pay for her baby medicine and. pay for my bills and my rent
  • I would retire!!!!! pay off my bils, school loans, and I would help others of course it would make me so happy, not to know I would not have to go to that'' arm pit of a job. I am so unhappy in my job, but because we have to work to work to survive,I have to keep it.it pays well and I am now to old to start over
  • I would send you a Image of my hosue it is bad I would be happy if can have a milliondoller...reason only have a litte clothing...
  • I cannot give you a good reason. For I neither need nor deserve a million dollars. Especially if it is to be simply given, to me. May I suggest you instead, create an endowment for Librarians instead?
  • I cannot give you a good reason. May I suggest you create an endowment for Librarians instead.
  • My reason would be that I would like to give $$$$$ to several Children's Homes - Orphanages as well as the World Wildlife Federation .... I would take out enough to pay off my mortgage as I always end up with tenants / roomates who cannot pay their rent as the economy causes them to lose their jobs and I'm about to lose my home. I would take out about $5,000 to get a different car, so i can go to the VA Hospital for treatments as I can't right now because the car I have is screwed up ... ALL the rest would definately go to various charities for children , domestic violence , and animals ... +5
  • Here we go, everyone's got a reason to respond to THAT question. Only you can decide what a "good" reason is, although I would take abby's advice on how to re-word your question.
  • If I gave away a million dollars, how would you
  • First of all it is nice to see that people would even consider giving to others. I feel the world has become so greedy that we have lost wha is really important. I am a struggling Registered Nurse, father of 3, with a wife who left me and is now fighting in court to continuously get as much money as she can. She and the court has lost the real idea of whats best for our children. I would certainly beenfi from this money and use it to care for my children, set up colege funds for them, donate to my struggling community hospital I work at, and help my parents as they have been helping me thru this struggle for months now.
  • Make our house more wheelchair accessable and lay all hardwood floors down for my Dad
  • Hello Lucky lefty how are you today? If I were given some money, I would help out as many as I can. My parents, mother in law, sisters and brothers and I would also apply about 100 grand to a business we are trying to get off the ground-produce-we tried for a grant and we were turned down today. Waiting and anticipating and hoping just didnt pan" out like we had hoped. Does not matter though because we shall move on. So many people in the world are starving and we really need to do something about that. Alot of children go to bed hungry and that is not right. So yes I would use the money for others. Because that is all I am-A person that helps people any way I can. God bless you.

  • i don't have one good reason and i would not ask for it anyway, for the reason that i don't have a 'good reason'...if i had a family member dying simply for lack of money reasons....i would have a good reason to ask , beg...whatever...
  • With the one million dollars that you, will give me I will help the needy, and many charitys. I am going to pay off my bills, my grand mother's bills. buy a home, go into business. and take a nice vacation
  • Look at me. Imagine going through life looking like THIS--and broke nonetheless. Show me the money!!!!
  • Well my reason would be because I wouldn't keep a dime of it. I'd give it all to local charities and put half of it in an investment, let it grow until I'm 60 and give it all away, I'd try to keep that cycle going and call it the saintclaire fund. Desinged to pay for surgeries for children, if the family cannot afford it. Life saving are priority. I beleive families shouldn't have to pay to keep a loved one.
  • I need it to sponsor women in the fight against breast cancer. It can be scary but can be in control with the right help.
