Help answer this question below.
I do neither, I usually remember where I left off and return to that page the next time I read.
I love buying bookmarks, but I end up never using them. Still, I don't like to bend the pages so I've been using the stub of my voter registration application for a few years now.
bookmarks. I'm a big fan of original bookmarks. It's a part of a ritual.
Bookmarks... I have some real cool one's!! :)
I use a bookmark .
Bookmarks
I hate dog-eared pages! I use a deck of old poker cards for bookmarks...
Bookmarks, with a nature theme or with a Bible scripture on them.
Bookmarks. I have so many of them, but they get lost somewhere, (probably leave them IN the books). I can only find my Harry Potter and Albert Einstein right now! :)
Bookmarks - it seems like book abuse to me to dog-ear the pages.
I dog-ear the page.
Neither, I can always fine my page rather quickly, I just close the book and flip back to the page i was on.
Neither. Post its :D
I use bookmarks, I don't like to write or mark the books with pens or colors and thus damage them.
I just turn the book over (left open ) and lay it flat on my end table .
I don't like dog-earing my pages, so i'll pick up the closest thing and use it as my bookmark
I get free printable bookmarks on the web so have a few in several rooms. I also use them to mark pages in craft and recipe books.
I use a bookmark everytime, books are our friends!!!
I have lots of bookmarks laying around for just such an occasion. I make them out of old pictures and concert tickets that I laminate.
I like keeping my books as neat as possible, I either stop at the beginning of a chapter or just remember the page number.
I rip the pages out as I read them ;)
Used to turn down the corners, but prefer using an index or playing card (doesn't damage the pages that way).
Paperbacks, just lay them down flat on the page I am reading (I am bad). Hardbacks or something borrowed, the first thing I can grab. Right now I am using an insert from a magazine.
I'm a dog ear-er
I'm a naughty page folder......
I usually just memorize the page number.
I use bookmarkers.
Dog ear. I like to know which books i have read and that's an easy way to do it.
A book mark of any sort. I was taught to respect the written word, even if if I did not agree with it. Books were a valuable thing deserving of care. Even today, tho the power may go out, my job could end, so I cannot pay my Internet fees, a book can provide entertainment, knowledge, maybe even inspiration as long as the sun shines or I can keep a small candle burning.
I just remember the page number. I hate opening books and finding them dog-eared.
I usually remember which page I am on, or I use some of my nifty bookmarks!
I always dog-ear. I shouldn't, but I do!
Always a bookmark,I never dog-ear the pages.
I usually just remember the page number, or the chapter.
I use bookmarks, or a torn off piece of paper.
I use a makeshift bookmark... usually a post-it note or a till receipt.
I dog-ear. I hate doing that, because I read every book I have at least 3 times right after I get it ( I love books!) By the time I'm finished my pages look weird... but I always lose my bookmarks. *sigh*
i dog ear mine +5
I would NEVER fold the corner of a page in a book. I might in a magazine but never in a book. I would use a bookmark or piece of paper.
If it is my book, I fold the page. But, if is a library or a freind's book, I use a bookmark.
I used to fold over the edges when I was a kid but now I always use a book mark or the jacket flap. Bookmark is better.
i usually just fold a piece of paper and use that as a book mark.
dog ear... much easier
I would NEVER fold a page. I would use a bookmark.
A paper bookmark.
I always use bookmarks!!! how dare anyone bend the pages of any book to keep their place!!!!!!!My bookmarks are usually the date due slips from the library, or else those subscription cards that come in magazines!! not very original, eh?????? LOL
I dog-ear paperbacks, but I use bookmarks for hardcovers. I don't know why, but I always tend to respect my hardcovers and abuse my paperbacks.
the good old dog ear.. lol..
I lay the book open to that page....butterfly
I like using a bookmark.
I use bookmarks, I don't like folding pages of books.
