When writing a paper (MLA format) if you are refering to a movie do you underline it, put it in quotations, or italicize it? Help please.

    It is underlined and in title case.

    In the vast majority of cases, the title of the actual item that is cited, is underlined.

    Newspaper Name, CD album title, etc. These things are underlined. I assume you would underline the Movie title.

    The reason there is no instruction on most MLA guides for referencing movies, is because they are an awful source of information. Better to use the sources of information the movie used, rather than the movie itself.
