We grownups know the difference between right and wrong. How far do you go to justify/rationalize doing something you want to do, when you know it is not the "right" thing to do?

We do not always know the difference between right and wrong because, quite often, there is no exact, definite line. Most actions have pros and cons. While something might seem right to some, it can easily seem wrong to others.

Whenever I do something I feel is wrong, I remember that my own view is skewed. I try to examine the action as impersonally as possible. I ask myself: Is there a significant impact? Who does this affect? Why do I feel hesitant?

If the action is very wrong (according to my opinion), then I will not do it. If it's ambiguous, I go with my gut.
